Jagu, heir to hidden warrior lineage, trains for the Ima Games with prodigies: luminous Soleki, volatile Anako, unyielding Tamano, empathetic Anju, and prescient Tuca.

Camaraderie blooms in elemental trials, but Anako's secret passion for Soleki festers into treachery, summoning swamp demons during the Games' chaos.
Exiled and forged by a rogue elder, Anako rises as a shadow warlord, razing Ima in infernal wrath. The Elders' cataclysmic stand—thunder and tsunami—floods the kingdom, enabling a grueling exodus south through cursed swamps, undead thickets, and colossal serpents to Xibalba's Tree of Life.
